Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 September 2026

This policy describes how the Minaico Publisher app handles your data, including data received from your Google account when you connect a YouTube channel.

01What this app is

Minaico Publisher is a tool for managing several YouTube channels: writing content, uploading videos, setting thumbnails, adding captions, adding videos to playlists and scheduling when they go public.

The app runs on your own computer and stores its data in a database on that machine. Minaico operates no server that receives this data.

02The Google data the app accesses

When you connect a channel, the app requests YouTube Data API access with two scopes: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl.

That access is used for exactly these things: reading the list of channels you own so the app can confirm the grant went to the right channel, uploading videos, setting thumbnails, uploading captions, reading your playlists and adding videos to them.

The app does not read your email, contacts, Drive files or any other Google data.

03Where the data is stored

On your machine the app stores: the YouTube channel id, channel name, channel handle, the refresh token, and the OAuth client details you configured yourself.

Alongside it sits the content you enter: titles, descriptions, tags, playlist names, paths to your video, thumbnail and caption files, and the publishing schedule.

None of this is sent to Minaico or to any third party. It travels only from your machine to Google's API.

04Sharing

Minaico does not sell, rent or share Google user data.

The only party that receives data is Google itself, when the app calls the YouTube Data API for an action you asked for.

05Limited Use

The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

06Revoking access and deleting data

You can revoke access at any time in your Google Account security settings, under third-party apps.

To delete stored data, remove the channel in the app or delete the database on your machine. Because the data lives only on your machine, deletion takes effect immediately and needs no request to Minaico.

07Children

The app is for channel managers and is not directed at children. Declaring content as made for kids when publishing is the user's responsibility under YouTube's rules.
